About Jennifer
With an academic background in Natural Sciences, and a particular fondness for quantum chemistry and pure mathematics, Jennifer has brought an analytical and detail-oriented mind to her accountancy work since she joined us in 2018. She is also currently studying for ACA and CTA qualifications.
Jennifer has always enjoyed working with numbers and believes that “a good spreadsheet will improve most situations.” The majority of her work is split between statutory audit and the preparation of annual accounts, although she is just as adept at bookkeeping and Self-Assessment Tax Returns. She particularly likes visiting clients who work in different industries and witnessing how accounting services can transform their businesses. It’s important to her to be on the end of the phone when her clients need her help.
Outside of work and study, Jennifer is a Grade 5 singer who’s been singing in a wide variety of choirs since 2004, loves to read and knows an inordinate amount of Harry Potter trivia. She also adores puzzles and thinks of accountancy as being very much like Sudoku. As she says: “It’s all about getting the right number in the right box”.
